I built this personal website to share some facets of my life. You can view my professional credentials by visiting www.SeattleCounsel.net.
If you click on the ART tab you’ll see The Reticulated Epicurean, whose colorful markings were made using herbs, spices and bone. You’ll also see the Coffee Cuckoo, who is made from Starbucks condiments. All my other pieces have been sold or donated to charity auctions. I have no immediate plans to get back in the shop and make more.
We live in a modest home built in 1950 and designed by Fred Bassetti, a prominent member of the Northwest School of midcentury modern architecture. I made some renovations to our house in which I tried to honor the aesthetic of that era. Click MIDCENTURY MODERN RENOVATION to see some of my work.
To meet my wife and two boys, click MARINA & MAX. One son was trilingual and earning money as a professional entertainer by age 12, the other has a really good sense of smell.
Until the summer of 2024, I had never written anything outside of work. But a serious health condition inspired me to publish an article about my experience confronting the prospect of death. If that’s what it takes to get me to write, I hope my career is over. See PUBLICATIONS.

Still pissed about the scoring in Hagler vs. Leonard.
